Notre FAQ
Subscriptions and Baskets
When you subscribe to a TERRA basket, you become a TERRA member for the duration of your subscription — for now seasonal (April–November) but soon also trimestrial (spring, summer or autumn) or monthly.
As a member, you get access to your personal dashboard where you can:
- Change your pick-up day or location
- Manage your subscription
- Order extras from our partner producers (eggs, bread, potatoes, meat and more)
You can choose between two weekly pick-up spots:
- Eicherfeld (barn 1 Eicherfeld) – Tuesday 17:00–19:00
- Bonnevoie (Place Léon XIII) – Saturday 10:00–12:00
Each weekly basket contains 8–9 different seasonal vegetables. Everything is grown in our garden at Eicherfeld, either in outdoor beds or in our unheated greenhouses.
The basket typically weighs around 3–6 kg, depending on the season and vegetable type.
The content changes with the seasons:
- Spring: fresh greens, herbs, salads
- Summer: abundance and variety
- Autumn: heartier vegetables
Our gardeners do their best to offer diversity within what our climate allows.
Who is it for?
- Perfect for couples or families
- Often a bit much for one person
- Possibly not quite enough for very veggie-loving families with teenagers, but a great basis for healthy meals
Have a look at our social media to see real basket examples and get a feel for quantities.
- Basic Basket: 1200€ for the season (~32 weeks, April–November)
- Farmer’s Friend: 1400€ for the same season
Payment options:
- Full payment by card on the website
- Installments: 2 or 4 payments via bank transfer (deadlines shown when you order)
The Farmer’s Friend option is a supportive tier for members who want to contribute a bit extra to TERRA while receiving the same weekly basket.
TERRA is for people who enjoy eating with the seasons and being surprised by what the garden offers each week.
If you:
- Like to cook creatively
- Care about where your food comes from
- Want fresh, healthy produce for your loved ones
- Enjoy being part of a local initiative
… then you’ll feel at home at TERRA.
On a practical level, make sure the weekly pick-up fits your schedule. We want your basket to bring joy — not stress.
Yes — members pick up their basket at one of our weekly pick-ups.
We currently don’t offer delivery (though we’re working on solutions for the future).
And honestly… we love seeing you! Pick-up moments are part of what makes TERRA a community 😊
Life happens!
You can:
- Change your pick-up day or location in your dashboard up to 24 hours before pick-up
- Send someone else (just leave their name in the comments)
After the 24-hour deadline, we are already harvesting for you. In that case, please call us and we’ll do our best to find a solution.
If you forget to come without informing us, unfortunately your basket is lost for that week. Don’t worry — nothing goes to waste. We pass uncollected baskets on to the community kitchen.
While the membership cannot be paused, you have flexible options in your member dashboard:
- Move your pick-up up to two weeks earlier or later
- Send someone else to pick up your basket (just leave their name in the comments)
- Schedule a double basket for another week if you’d like to pick up extra
This way, you don’t miss out, and your support continues to help the garden thrive 🌿
Absolutely! Many members share a basket with a friend, neighbour or colleague.
Some divide it on site each week. Others alternate pick-ups. It’s completely up to you.
If you’d like to share but don’t know with whom, send us an email — we may be able to help you connect.
When you arrive:
- Check in with a team member
- Bring your own bags or basket
- Help yourself according to the blackboard instructions
The blackboard lists:
- The vegetables included
- The quantities per member
Please take exactly what is written — this ensures fairness for everyone and avoids waste.
We also have an exchange box:
- Leave a vegetable you don’t want
- Take something else if available
It’s simple, friendly and self-organised — just like a CSA should be 🌿
Use the exchange box!
If there’s nothing suitable for you, talk to a team member — we’ll always try to help.
Yes!
Members can:
- Order subscriptions for bread, eggs, meat and more
- Buy extra products at the pick-up stand
On Saturdays in Bonnevoie, non-members are also welcome to buy vegetables and other produce (availability may vary).
For now, yes. Seasonal memberships give TERRA the financial stability needed to plan the year and grow responsibly.
We deeply value the long-term commitment our members make — it’s what makes community-supported agriculture possible.
Monthly and trimester options are being developed.
Your membership directly finances the production of vegetables in our garden.
The largest share covers fair salaries for the TERRA team.
By becoming a member, you support:
- Soil regeneration
- Biodiversity
- Local food production
- Training of future market gardeners
Your contribution keeps this ecosystem alive 🌍
We grow without synthetic phytosanitary products and follow organic principles in all our practices.
We do not hold official organic certification. In 2014, the cooperative decided against certification because we are a small, transparent community. Anyone can come and see how we work.
We are organic by conviction — caring for soil, nature and people is at the heart of TERRA.
Yes! You can order a discovery basket to experience what a week at TERRA feels like.
You can also buy a discovery basket occasionally if you’re not ready for a full subscription.
We love welcoming people to see where the vegetables grow!
- Open gates on 2 weekends: We have two community events each year when everyone is welcome:
- June: Summer Celebration
- September: Sauerkraut-making
- Outside these events: If you want to visit the garden, just give us a call — you’re welcome to have a look around.
- Guided visits: If you would like explanations and a more in-depth tour, you can schedule a visit from our brochure.
No. The TERRA basket always contains 100% vegetables grown in our garden at Eicherfeld.

Please contact us a few days in advance to let us know you’re coming.
