Concept of TERRA’s baskets
The TERRA baskets bring you 8–9 different vegetables every week, from the end of April through to the end of November.
Each basket is thoughtfully composed to give you both variety and balance. Throughout the season, you’ll always find some form of salad (head lettuce and/or cut salad), an “oniony” element (such as chives, spring onions, onions, fresh garlic, or leek), and a fresh herb (parsley, coriander, dill, and more).
Seasonal Evolution
The rest of the basket evolves naturally with the seasons — from tender leafy greens in spring, to abundant, colorful summer harvests, and finally to rich, hearty autumn vegetables. Eating this way reconnects you with what nature offers at each moment of the year, allowing you to enjoy nutrients and vitamins at their freshest and most flavorful. Your body will thank you.

Greenhouse and Growth
In spring, leafy greens are the first to be harvested, as they grow quickly and thrive in cooler conditions. These early baskets are full of vibrant greens, complemented by vegetables grown over winter in our unheated greenhouses — like young, crunchy carrots and fresh garlic. Our greenhouses help us gently extend the growing season, allowing certain vegetables to arrive earlier and remain available later than they would outdoors.
Seasonal Highlights in Luxembourg
We move gradually from one season to the next, ensuring a smooth and exciting transition in your basket each week. Some vegetables appear regularly throughout the year — such as salad, kohlrabi, herbs, and radishes — while others are true seasonal highlights here in Luxembourg.
You’ll know it’s summer when the first cucumbers and tomatoes arrive — full of flavor and sunshine. As the season shifts, you’ll recognize autumn by the abundance of peppers, followed by the arrival of cabbages and pumpkins.

Focus on the Cabbage Family
And don’t underestimate the cabbage family: incredibly diverse, rich in vitamins, and full of character. From crisp and fresh to slow-cooked and comforting, their variety of flavors, textures, and culinary possibilities might just surprise you.
